  • If you didn’t change anything, it’s highly likely that your hosting company did: most likely, they updated some of their server software to a newer version. You’ll need to contact their support for details about what has changed and how they can help you get back in to the back end of your site.

Once that’s taken care of, you absolutely should update to the latest version of WordPress and keep the software (including your plugins and theme) up to date. That doesn’t mean you have to change anything about the way your site looks — but the software itself has had a ton of upgrades, including security fixes.

    Thank you Amy.

You’re welcome! Good luck, and don’t forget to make a backup of everything when you get back in!

Amy, It was a PHP issue. I was running 4 they are changing over to 5. Support changed it for me and I am back and running.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I was freaking out over here! Didn’t think godaddy had anything to do with it.

    YIPPIE!
