Try clearing your cache.
If the problem persists, it may be hard-coded into the Template file assigned to that Contact page; edit that file.

It’s not the cache. I can’t find any file in wp-content folder with reference to my contact details. I want to delete the contact page and just create a new one, but I’m worried that WP will post it in a different place and change the layout of my site.
I see this:

+27 84 817 0308
louisvorster.photo[@]gmail.com
Facebook
Is that right or wrong?
If the contact information is hard-coded, the file you want is going to be at wp-content/themes/simplefolio and more than that I can’t tell you. I could narrow it down the file name if you theme were using the body_class(...)
function, but it isn’t.

that screen grab is correct. You don’t see anything on the right margin? Weird, I already reset Safari twice. Thanks, I’ll keep looking.

I don’t think I was very clear when I described my problem.
When I open the contact page on my website I see two sets of contact details; the old text in black to the righthand of the contact page AND my new entry in grey on the lefthand side of the same contact page. But when I go to the “contact” page in the WP dashboard I don’t see the old text to delete it, I only see the new text.
I reset safari a few times and I looked through every .php file in that theme folder, I don’t see any reference to the word contact or to my contact details.

I found the problem, it was a text widget in the widget area of my dashboard, I deleted the widget, problem solved.
