    Great Plugin! Thank you.

There are a couple things I think myself and other users of the plugin could benefit from.

    1. The ability to set batch amounts to limit timeouts on the server and continue from the last optimized image.

    2. Maybe a list view of all images when you can see what has been optimized and use a simple click to optimize each image. Think all images in list view with check box for bulk optimization.

The reason I mention both of these thoughts is because I am not optimizing a site as an afterthought and felt it would be nice to have more granular control over the optimization process. I have 850+ images to optimize and I receive timeouts fairly often due to the sheer amount of images and variants involved for each one.

If I can be of any help for the plugin development or testing feel free to give a shout.

You actually can already batch optimize a group of images, or individual images, from the Media Library page. You can either click re-optimize by an individual image, or check several images (or a whole page worth) and use the Bulk Optimize action from the Bulk Actions drop-down list (located at the top and bottom of the page). It does require javascript to use the bulk-optimize in this manner, as that was the only way to sneak that option into the drop-down list.

However, you have hit on one thing I’d like to implement in the future, and that is to have a ‘resume’ option so that you can continue the bulk optimize from where it left off. Don’t hold your breath though, I’m in the middle of implementing support for GRAND FlAGallery, but I’ll put it next on the roadmap, since it should be pretty easy.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.

Thanks for getting back to me nosilver4u.

I saw the bulk optimization but I think that there are some issues with this as running through every page of the media library when you have 800+ images is a pretty tedious task. I was thinking you could have another view of all of the images where you output all images in media library and bulk optimize from this page. If you like me to create a mock I can show you what I mean.

That sounds great and I look forward to those features in the future.

You can also increase the number of images on a single page in the media library (I’ve done up to 200). That would make 800 images go pretty quick.

the latest version (1.0.11) now has support for resuming bulk optimization
