any update on this?
Also I could not edit the expired password message
Thanks, I’ll look into these issues.
In the latest release 0.4 only admin users can modify expiration settings and there is a settings page for editing the email notification messages – emails functionality now works!

Ooops! Role not change on expiration.
Did the emails send out OK on expiration?
What had to set the role to change to?
What was it originally?

I’m working in localhost, so emails…
User 1: editor to subscriber
User 2: administrator to editor
The plugin time is set to UTC time and don’t follow my server time. So i must set expiration with 2 hours delay. Anyway, i made another try: i set a user expiration… yesterday and role remain the same.
For testing you can uncomment the “add_action” in line 10 of class-expire-users-cron.php
http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/expire-users/trunk/includes/class-expire-users-cron.php
That will force the expire checks to run instantly rather than being queued to run every hour.
If you do this and it works OK it may be that there is an issue with the WordPress cron not running properly. It you schedule a post to go live at a future date does that publish OK at the correct time?

1. I uncommented that line. The same problem. I scheduled a post at a future date and it works.
2. After expiration, users can’t log in. So works like in previous updates.
3. I think it’s a javascript problem to month selector. The dropdown months remain open just with click and a little drag, not just with click. I don’t know if it’s from plugin script or from wordpress.
@ben Huson,
I have a problem with “Expire Users” plugin. When i setup a specific time and date to expire users, but on the specific date and time users not expired and they can still login. Please help me anyway!
