  • Hey there MSUstudio. You’re the first to note that this is a byproduct specifically of the latest update, so I wonder if something else might be at play here. Do you have permalinks enabled on the site? Can you provide a link so we can check this out directly?

We can totally hook you up with an older version if you email pro /a/ tri.be, but since we can only provide support on the newest build it’d be good to get it fixed for you there (rather than force you to use a less stable build).

Well then let me be the second to inform you of a magically disappearing navMenu on the events page.

    http://www.theelectricbear.com/saltydog/?post_type=tribe_events

    The

is there for the nav, but it’s not being populated.
Any clues out there to the cause of this?

Hey PNo1. What happens if you just change to a different template option under Events -> Settings? It’s possible your template got reset in the update, but checking and testing from that dropdown (on the “Templates” tab) should provide a viable alternative. Let me know if I’m wrong there though.

Ive checked the nav under both 2010 and 2011. It appears under 2011 but not on 2010. Just for reference I am using Chameleon for Elegant Themes.

Also I just noticed that the menu is not loading properly if I am using a
    custom menu

Hi there, PNo1. Thanks for the follow-up. Could this be the same issue as what’s being discussed in this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-the-events-calendar-navigation-from-template-get-lost?replies=30. Am I wrong there?

If so, have you reviewed the options described there (as those are far more substantive and a good number of ideas have been thrown around)? Let me know if you’re still having issues from there. Also, please make sure you do have permalinks turned on in your testing.
