Dianne,
Did you ever get a direct reply to your ‘virus suspected’ notice posted above? I have just had the same notice on consecutive days, but like your experience, the manual scan did not disclose any viruses. Today, when the manual scan was finished, I got three red-bordered notices that said ‘no virus found’ in a clickable button. I then clicked on each message. As I did, each message disappeared.
As I am a novice in this website development game, I am often floundering in the dark. I now presume that I have no virus infections. is that your experience?
sincerely,
Graham
Same thing has been happening to me for the last 3 or 4 days.
The daily antivirus scan of your blog suggests alarm.

There’s no specific info, and like Graham, when I did a manual scan, it displayed 4 red-bordered boxes that had a “there is no virus” box.
The virus message at top of dashboard disappears until next day’s scan.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Merrill
Looks like this antivirus plugin for wordpress is just a dummy. On my website http://www.delhi-fun-dos.com same thing is happening with me.
I rcvd an email saying virus suspected. no details whatsoever.
when i run a manual scan two red box. But what to do about it? how do i remove the virus from these…?
Clicking on “There is no virus” will remove the box but I’m sure it doesnt solve the error. it just tells wordpress that this is not a virus.
Any other antivirus solution for wordpress blogs?
