I may have found a solution, but would like to ask if it is the best solution: I created a page called Posts and in the WP-Admin/Settings/Reading, I set the page called Posts as the Posts page. Then I made the More button URL be
    http://lynnsomerstein.com/posts/page/2/

Might there be a more elegant solution that would display posts 21 and older in the same widget area on the original page, http://lynnsomerstein.com/living-well-blog/

    ?

If not, we can be happy with the approach I’ve taken and described here. Thanks for your help.

It is certainly possible what are you trying to achieve.
But then you have to hack some plug in template codes and might have
    to add some additional codes.

It shouldn’t be a big problem for the professional coders but a problem indeed for beginners.
I would have also come up with the same solution as you. But it would be more elegant to show older posts in the same page.

However, I suggest you to make a plug in feature request to the author.

    Good luck.

I think you came up with a good solution. That is essentially what I intended for the “Show More” functionality, to link to another page displaying a full list of the posts.

Showing more posts within the widget itself is I think beyond the scope of what I plan to support in this plugin.

    Cheers.

The only reason I was looing at this plugin was for the more within the widget… but looks like that’s not going to happen. I resorted back to my original widget i had which is more stylized.. although this widget is not bad… the more function should be an actual more within the widget… not a link to another page. Beats the point of the widget.
