Support » Fixing WordPress » How to Display Comments

  • Hi! I’m trying to figure out how to display comments on my blog posts: http://myyogatoday.com/ I am currently using wordpress 3.2.1

My dashboard says I have 470 comments, which I can read under my admin log-in, but the actual posts on the website say 0 comments.

I’ve looked at the discussion settings and selected “allow people to post comments to new articles” and that didn’t change anything.

I am not html savvy and am new to blogging, so if there is a simple adjustment I can make to display the # of comments under each blog post that would be great! (then the reader can click the link to expand and read comments if desired)

    Thank YOU!

  • In the discussion settings do you require comments to be approved? In the list of comments do they show in the Pending category or are they Approved?

AH HAAAAA!!!! IT WORKED! Thank you so much for responding so quickly to my question! I had a feeling it was a simple fix, but I’m still trying to get the hang of wordpress and blogging. I didn’t even realize people were commenting on my posts until just a few days ago — I have quite a bit of follow up to do with some of these people, especially to thank them for reading my stuff!

    Thanks again so much!
