    Hi,

How are users notified that they must change their password? And, how do I test that it’s working?

I’ve checked the “Change All Passwords” box, logged out of my admin account, and logged back in. I also tried to log into a a new subscriber account that I created for testing the password-change requirement. Neither account required that I change the password.

Forgive me if I’m being a little slow this morning, but it doesn’t seem to be working the way I’d have expected. Help?

    Mike

    Hi Mike:

The plugin sets a “change password” flag in each existing user’s metadata. But it does not set a flag for the administrator who presses the button.

Also, you mentioned checking the box. But I didn’t see mention of clicking the button next to it also. Both need to be done for the flag to get set. The two step process helps prevent mistakes.

    Thanks, Dan.

I did click the button. I subsequently tried it with an existing account, and it worked as expected.

    Thanks for the quick response!

    Mike
