Retrieve table cells content in wordpress page.

Hi i have a problem here that i am trying to resolve from past two days,actually i have inserted html table in wordpress page using <table> tag,now i have to perform some action on some table cells content, i tried to retrieve that through jquery i was successfull but unfortunately there was b problem in passing them back to php.Now please help me how i can retrieve the table values in php.the replies will be much appreciated,thanks
