[Plugin: WP-Paginate] WP Pagination

How do I paginate posts and comments in my wordpress blog? I have installed WP-Paginate but am unable to figure out as to how I should do next. I have just posted a blog “On being a Patient” and I want to break the 60-odd comments into three pages. Similarly I would to break my 1600-word post into three pages. Please help me accomplish this task. Although I have broken the text into three pages using a simple code (<!–nextpage–>, I din’t like the output.

Am a doctor and have no idea of coding!
