    Hi

I’m using All in One SEO plugin since the beginning and I love it. Its one of the best and Very easy to use plugin.

I have enabled “Auto generate meta description” option in its settings so that it can auto generate meta description using the first few words of the post.

Thats great option but sometimes it causes duplicate meta description problem in Google Webmaster Tools. The reason is, we might put some kind of notes or warnings in the beginning of a few posts and since this plugin uses first few words of the post, the automatically generated meta description only fetches that note or warning message text and becomes same for those posts.

The solution is, if we can put post title before the words taken from posts, each meta description will be unique.

So can anyone tell me how to achieve this? Can we modify the code so that it can automatically insert post title in meta description?

Any kind of reply will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

PS: If the developer can put an option to enable/disable automatic insertion of post title in meta description, it would be great feature.

  • Yet Another WP User,

In the plugin settings, change your Description Format to this:

    %wp_title% %description%
