disable html tags completely (per-user setting)

    What I would really like is a way to turn off , by default for all new posters, and for all comment posters (ie: people who I don’t trust to write legal xhtml) the ability to use html tags.
    In other words, I want them to rely on textile formatting only, since I know it outputs safe code. (Is textile formatting available in comments?)

    Have you tried removing/commenting out the code corresponding to allowed html tags in kses.php?

    I want to do the same thing, but with BBCOde. I already deleted the allowed tag lines in the kses.php, but i can still use html!
