    Hey there,

I’ve currently gone to a whole lot of trouble to get my wordpress powered site off the ground… thanks to Filosofo’s Home-Page plugin i’ve pretty much got a CMS happening.

One of my issues lies with the side bar. I have created a page named “home” that replaces my “blog” as my homepage, hence the plugin.

The sidebar works fine expect when it’s on the “blog” page?

I want it to show the same thing on every page.

    here’s the website: http://furydesigns.com.au

if someone could help me out that would be great.

  • Look for conditional statements in your sidebar.php.

yeh which ones exactly? I’m not too sure what i should be looking for?

    Paste your sidebar.php to http://wordpress.pastebin.ca
and post back with the URI

I thinks it’s the default sidebar for the K2 theme.

    (I never touch that theme…)

Anyway, by deleting lines 88-89-90 should eliminate that message.

    BACKUP before modifying!

Thanks Moshu… i ended up removing lines 51 – 91 and then i got rid of the if statement on line 128 to make sure that the sidebar displays the same on every page…

oh and why don’t you touch K2?

K2 is just a kubrick oddity…. neither of them is creative, nor original. Klunky, kludgy…. some of us just don’t have any use for either of them. Besides the fact that with kubrick at least, customizing the look is agonizing. I don’t have any idea if that’s the same with K2, it’s nothing I need to mess with anyway.

Stanley would probably be appalled, actually.
