• Hey all. I’m using the Hatch.com theme, and I’m having issues with my links.

My site is YouAreRaven.com, so for things like, for example, a blog post, the url should be YouAreRaven.com/blog-title/ But it isn’t, it’s YouAreRaven.com/index.php/blog-title/

I have NO IDEA why! And it’s breaking all of my links.

    Any advice?

  • I didn’t encounter any broken links, but they all seem to include index.php. It looks like your site may be hosted on a windows server using IIS 6. My best guess would be that “index.php” might be included in your permalink structure to allow the use of “almost pretty” permalinks.

Some related reference material: Using Permalinks see PATHINFO: “Almost Pretty”

Your hosts support group may be able to give you some more information about your permalink options.

The broken links are my “next” “previous” and number page links. :/

Thank you for the reference material. I’ll definitely look it over.

I actually spoke to my host, and they said it’s a WordPress issue, which was very unhelpful of them.

In the meantime, I keep trying all of these permalink redirecters and they’re not working. And I don’t mean there’s an error, they just don’t do anything!
