[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Every Page a Product Page

    I am using the latest version of wordpress (3.4.1) in a Multisite install. I have downloaded the most recent version of this plugin (3.8.8.5) and immediately upon activating the plugin it breaks the navigation and all pages are displayed as the main Product page. There are no other plugins installed, in fact the site is brand new so there is really nothing differentiating the page from a brand new install.

    I’ve done a lot of research, and this is the solution I would like to go with for my shop (in fact I had a prior version functioning, but decided to start over) but obviously this needs to be resolved before I can proceed.

    Ditto. Thank you @wcanavan for your comprehensive & thorough explanation of the problem. I also researched quite a bit before deciding on this plugin, and now it’s taken over my entire site. When I have a page in edit mode it shows my original content, but the live site shows product pages.

    If anyone has received or found answers from an alternate source, could you please post it here? Considering that @wcanavan posted 2 weeks ago without a resolution, I don’t foresee this forum providing a timely solution. If I can’t find a fix for this in the next few hours I’ll consider ditching the plugin.

    Got it! Go to Permalinks under Settings, and just refresh (resave) the settings. I had to do this twice, but all of my regular pages are working properly now.

    I’m sorry that I forgot to update this problem, but the solution that @smartdesi9n mentioned worked perfectly for me as well and now there are no problems whatsoever.
