• I’m playing around with the Blog-In-Blog plugin and ran into a few questions

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can answer these questions or point me to a solution

    Main Question:
I created a Blog in Blog, set the category slug, and got the page up and running. But the URL for the individual posts is showing up as:

    MyURL.com/category/’slug-name’
is there a way to remove the word ‘category’ from the URL so that it simply shows up as

    MyURL.com/’slug-name’

    Second Question:
I tried the option of hiding this category from the main page but my posts are still showing up, both in the blog in blog, and on my main posts page. I am not sure how to block it

    Here is what I tried:
In admin page Settings > Blog-in-Blog > Category
The option says: Define which categories should be hidden…

    I see the following:
    – my category name
    – Show All Categories

I am able to highlight one or the other, but not click or edit,
and when I click the checkmark for ‘hide categories from feed’ nothing happens.

Thanks again for any help and advice you may offer
