phifgo.com – Media Indipendence problem

    Hi , I’ve just setup my own web site at http://phifgo.com as a blog generated by wordpress engine.

    I’m a Linux user , so I don’t have any probldem when I browse the site using firefox. But almost my friends, who is using Internet Explorer (The most awful browser), are reporting that they can see just the logo, the name of my blog and the title of first post.
    Please, help me to solve this problem

    Hi, I think you posted this in the wrong forum, I suggest you ask a moderator somehow to move this thread into the ‘support’ section where people can answer with suggestions.

    By the way the problem happened with me too, I couldn’t see anything other than the logo and the first title.

    You have this code in your post:

    <meta http-equiv="CONTENT-TYPE" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /><title /><meta name="GENERATOR" content="OpenOffice.org 2.0 (Linux)" /><meta name="CREATED" content="20060914;13384600" /><meta name="CHANGED" content="20060914;23443900" />

    That should be in the <head> section only (in header.php). Firefox seems to be happy to ignore it, but it does seem to be confusing IE.

    Are you typing posts in a word processor? It’s not a good idea, as that can introduce all sorts of codes that will break your site. Use a plain text editor, and you should have no trouble.
