Calendar looks good to me. What isn’t displaying?
The issue is that the map is not displaying for you? Anything else?
No, that’s my only issue. It was displaying before the recent update. Thanks for your attention to this issue.
I’ll look into it. We updated the map framework for quicker processing. Let’s see if this can’t be fixed quickly.
I installed the plugin on several different setups and could see the map without issue.
The div id #eom_map that used to contain the map does not anymore. You should simply see a map image with a link surrounding it.
Confirm that the map isn’t being hidden by your stylesheet.
Looking on your site I’ve noticed that the map item isn’t there.
Confirm that you’ve downloaded the update correctly. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the plugin.
Will I lose my current event listings if I delete the plugin and then reinstall?
I’ve just updated the core to 2.5.2
When you see the update, go ahead and run the plugin update and see if everything runs smoother.
It looks like certain files within the plugin cure didn’t install for you, as I also cant see the ‘add to my calendar’ link that was added to this release. Try that before uninstalling /reinstalling.
The update didn’t fix the issue, and there’s nothing in the stylesheet that would hide the map.
Are you running WP Page Cache or some other supercache?
The plugin updates aren’t showing on the event pages. There is no ical download link. Essentially the plugin doesn’t look like it has been updated, but the JS that renders the map has. This is why you are having display issues.
No, cacheing isn’t the issue. This is a problem, I believe, of my own doing. When I first installed EOM a while ago, there were certain features that I didn’t want to use. I’m an amateur when it comes to this stuff, and I stupidly starting hacking away at the code to erase what I didn’t want (instead of handling it via CSS!). Well, that worked OK until I ran a subsequent EOM update, and the plugin just broke down (my fault). At that point, I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled, but the problems remained. So I asked a developer to take a look and he fixed the problem in part by creating a separate plugin that he called EOM Extend. I don’t know what it does, but it did the trick — until I ran the latest plugin and the map disappeared.
All that said, I really don’t want to take up more of your time, and I can live (unhappily) without the map. In any case, I really appreciate your help here.
