GD Star Rating retrive the image / custom field

hi all, i need some help on this GD Star Rating plugin. this is a wonderful plugin and i have a hard time trying to set it up as it have a lot of complicated featured and settings. however i only wanted a simple and basic voting system for a complex cinema site.

but, after i insert the results widget on the sidebar, it shows the results for the top photos voted, but it can’t show any images at all? i have follow the instructions and inserted all the relevant information needed in the widget; the “image” field is correctly set up with the “Get Image From:” field pointing to “custom field”. and custom field is point to “image”. i am inserting the photos into the blog post by using the custom field column, the post shows all the photos but the GD Star rating plugin seems not able to track this in the sidebar widget? thus not showing any images in the sidebar… anyone can help to advise on this… thanks..
