Yes I have the exact same error message as well.
I think you are not enable zip mode on your server , check it
can you share your website link and also need to check your server php configurations?
Forget it. This is obviously an unfinished plugin for early adopters and people with a lot of spare time.
Good luck with your plugin development but I’ll use a working alternative for my backups.
For the ZipArchive class to be present, PHP needs to have the zip extension installed.
check the below installation instructions
http://www.php.net/manual/en/zip.installation.php
I get the same error message, while my site runs on PHP version 5.1.4
Zipclass file is present, but I’m not sure zip mode is enabled. Website is http://www.takvansport.nl
I get same
‘Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in [URL] on line 12′
Is there no using this plugin without zip? Can patch for tar or gz?
On Dreamhost, the PHP 5.2.X do not have the Zipclass, but the 5.3.X does! You can change the PHP version editing the domain information in the DH Panel.
Just a tip.
Best regards!
