    Hi,

I got a custom Post Type (Public Events) that I want to hide from some Roles, as only the Editor can write and publish them, but the Custom Post Type doesn’t appear in the Menu Options, so I cannot hide it from the other roles.

I got another Custom Post type that is showing properly.

    Any hint?

I tried to delete the other Custom Post Type (the one showing) from functions.php, just for a test check, and the “Menu Options” keeps showing it.

It looks like it’s a sort of caching issue, but actually the “Write Options – Public Events” and “Write Options – Events (other custom post type)” update fine when I deactivate one or another.

It’s just the Menu Options that is stuck and doesn’t refresh. It just keeps the first Custom Type (Events) and doesn’t show the other one I need to hide (Public Events).

Update the settings of Adminimize and you see your new menu items of custom post type. The plugin write/read the options only on update process.

Oh, thanks, Frank! That did it. So simple, but you had to guess it…
