• Hello all!

I recently set up WMPU in order to create subdirectories of my site in other languages (for example, http://www.example.com/fr, or http://www.example.fr/de).

I followed the steps, but wince my website is old, WP gave me no option but to use subdomains. However, I used this workaround in order to force WP to allow me to use subdirectories instead.

I tested this with a test website, and it seemed to work fine.

However, on my regular website, when I created a test subdirectory (http://www.asplenia-studios.com/p38lightning/, I get a blank page, and when I try to access the dashboard, I get a The page isn’t redirecting properly error on Firefox, or an Error 310 This webpage has a redirect loop error on Chrome.

Any ideas of what could be causing this. Both error messages recommend that I clear my cookies, but that doesn’t seem to help.

Any assistance you may provide would be extremely helpful.

    Jeff

    Side note-

I reverted the settings from the workaround above back to using subdomains. I created a test subdomain and when I try to access both the page and the admin panel I get back a message saying Chrome can’t access the site.
