One-time subscriber login to specifc area of WP site

    I am developing a WordPress site for a commercial real estate firm.
    – I want to require user login to access PDF documents housed in a specific folder
    – Client wants users (once they have registered) to not have to re-login every time. Nothing highly secure her, just marketing materials
    – The rest of the site does not require any type of login
    – I’m not a programmer… I can do the basics, but…

    I’ve done a lot of searching, anyone run into a similar situation and have a solution?
