Gday Trevor,
I have logged an issue with Dropbox so hopefully they are looking into the issue.
You can share folders within the app folder using the ‘Get Link’ feature to expose the contents via the Drobox website.
Will this suffice?
Cheers,
Mikey
I’ll give it a go and get back to you. If necessary, can I get the previous version from somewhere and use that for the time being?
Cheer
It’ll do – I thought at first that I’d have to manually copy it somewhere, but I’ve just found that I can add it to my dropbox account. Thanks
Excellent.
I have forwarded this thread to the Dropbox team because they are interested in the use case of sharing a folder from within an App folder.
The web interface for sharing is quite slick. So you can easily share the links to the individual submodules with your clients.
Hopefully full folder sharing will be enabled in the future.
Get Link sort of works – however, it only takes a copy of the folder as it is at that time. If the contents of the folder are updated later – as all backups do, then the “Get Link” option has to be used again, so actually not a solution 🙁
Can a have the previous version please?
Thanks
Gday Travor,
You can download version 1 here: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox.1.0.zip
Unfortunately I cannot support older versions of the plugin. 🙁
I will ping Dropbox again with the issue and see what they can do.
Cheers,
Mikey
Thanks
I understand about support
