    My client is a paralegal.

He wants to direct his clients to a page where they can fill out a form with their information and have the data stored.

He wants to be able to open a custom form (a different form for each of his services) and select his customers submitted data(probably by the date it was submitted) and have it automatically populate certain fields so he can turn around and print the document and send it back to the client.

Pretty much like legalzoom.com does it.

is this possible using this plugin?

  • I would like to know if possible to customize output, because it could generate some nice looking forms (if they looked like the website).

@mypcsolutions, You can create as many forms as you would like and either access all the entries/submissions in the admin section or on the front end of your form. To pre-populate certain fields into a form, you would need to display the form entries on the front end of your site, from there, you would add a “print” link or you could add a link to another form with parameters in it. This is a bit less straight-forward, so if you decide to give it a try, please purchase the Pro plugin and post on the helpdesk for support.

@dmanexe, Yes, you can customize the output of form entries. We do this using what we call Custom displays. Here is more information on custom displays: http://formidablepro.com/knowledgebase/display-your-form-data/
