While the whole website content is stored on the cloud storage, you’d still need a webserver to host the site. You can choose to host the website anywhere: on premise, at your favorite hoster or at Amazon EC2.

The webserver hardware requirements lessen on multiple fronts:
    – durability requirements on local storage. In case it is a Virtual Machine you pretty much don’t need persistent storage for the data
    – the backup is no longer required
    – media content being served directly off Amazon S3, means fewer resources will be consumed by your webserver

Cloud Storage Engine (ClouSE) for MySQL runs on your webserver to enable WordPress access the cloud storage.
    ClouSE Beta version is FREE

    Hi Artem,

does it mean that when the ClouSE final version is out we’ll have to pay for it in order to be able to use this plugin?
