I’m beginning to think that knowing what “Client ID” and “Client Secret” are limited to folks in their local terrorist cell – no one from the outside shall ever know what they mean let alone how to easily get them.
What’s the big deal developers? These 2 pieces of information are needed to make a number of WP plugins work and none of the developers has any idea how to get them – or at least show us how to get them.
How about some help developers? How on earth can we get these 2 pieces of critical information from Google Cloud?
Configure google account, you need to create Client ID & Client secret from the API section ‘Google API Console’ the URL is https://code.google.com/apis/console/
created project ID
API access
copied redirect URL https://… to oAuth form
copied client ID into plugin form
copied client secret into plugin form
I am sorry but I can’t see why following their instructions, won’t work for you. My problem was in my first try was I didn’t correctly copy the redirect URL from the dashboard into Google…can’t say that’s what happened here. Are you familiar with zoom.us? It’s a screen sharing that has perfect viewing, maybe sometime we could arrange to do that?
