Help, Parse Error!!!!!!!!! Someone please help me fix my site.

    This is what I see when I try to access my site. Can someone please help. I dont understand code or how in the world I can fix this since I cant even login to the back of my site.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /home/content/16/8996416/html/wp-content/plugins/facebookplugin/facebookplugin.php on line 18

    FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/facebookplugin folder.

    thank you. Is there anyway to tell if a plugin is legit or a hack? I have only downloaded highly rated plugins.

    That’s a difficult one. Even plugins that are perfectly legit can cause problems on some sites because of conflicts with other plugins or the current theme. At the end of the day, every site is different, so the only real acid test is to try one of these plugins out.

    Where did you download that particular plugin from?
