See this post on changing the background color. Natively in the most recent version, it only supports gray (the default) and black (experimentally).

As to removing the toolbar completely, this is not yet supported. I’m planning to include more full theme features in v2.5 that may permit this, but I have not tried that particular idea yet…

I have removed the enhanced view button (with the setting) to remove the print option. The problem is the fly over is still showing and the function still reponds if you click on the fly over. Do you have a solution for that? Thanks!
Complete removal of the toolbar is coming as promised in v2.5 (hopefully a month or two, as there are major changes). I’m not sure what you mean by “print button” as that’s not visible except in full screen view, which is a Google page not present in my plugin.
There is a known issue in 2.4.6 where hidden toolbar buttons in the viewer still are narrowly clickable even though the icons aren’t visible. This is fixed in the next version as well, and I can send you a patch for the specific issue you’re seeing with some clarification on which button you mean. You can contact me directly via the support link in your plugin list.
thanks! looking forward to the new version. 🙂 Indeed I would appreciate the patch in the meantime for the hidden toolbar buttons still clickable even thought the icons are not visible. The specific one I want to patch is the full screen viewer (which makes the print button accessible). I would like for the full screen viewer to not be accessible. Thanks very much!
