• First of all, this is a very welcome Plugin. It’s fantastic!

    Secondly, I’m building a custom application that I’d love to use your plugin in … however, I don’t want my users being able to play around with the settings when uploading their videos … simply because the basic user is unpredictable and I want to minimize tech support for “stupid” questions…

    Is there a way to allow an Admin user to set the settings, but only allow users to Browse, select a file, a few other options and then just upload?

    I know it’s an odd request, but I would really appreciate your brainstorm on this! 🙂

    You have to be an administrator in order to access the plugin settings page (options-general.php?page=video-embed-thumbnail-generator.php) is there something else you’d like to restrict?

    @kyle, thanks for your reply.

    So what I’m basically needing to do is allow video’s to be uploaded, but utilize FFMPEG to convert them to a standard format most suitable for the web and mobile – probably mp4. And I just want “normal” users to be restricted to just uploading their content 🙂
