Looking for suggestions

I am relatively new to the wordpress system and have been asked by my employer to do something that i am sure can be done in wordpress but just not sure how. I have 2 things that I need to do:

1. We are looking at creating a page with an online sign up form where they fill in their information and then it populates the information into either Excel or MS Access. It was suggested to use google docs but because of the institutions privacy policies it must sit on my servers here.

Is there widget or plug in that can do this?

2. We are looking for a really good download manager for the site. somethig that allows us to upload documents that can be bigger than the default amount set by wordpress. Ideally my bosses want me to use a website program like ISSUU.

Any help on these 2 issues would be awesome…
