wp auction emails

Hello! I am having some difficulties with the wp auction plugin. I have it just perfect, but it does not send email notifications. If I click on the watch, it says we will notify you when you get changes, but no email is sent. Additionally, if someone is outbid they do not receive this notification. It appears as if each time an email is supposed to be sent out, this error message appears at the top of the page:

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. in /home/content/80/8929080/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-auctions/wp_auctions.php on line 148

I have already notified the creators of wp auctions but have not heard back. This is a little bit of a time sensitive issue and I am kind of in a bind. Any help would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated.
