Hello! I just read somewhere that too much plugins slows down your site. So what is the allowable numbers of plugins should be used on blogs? I currently have 14 active plugins.

  • There is no magic number of Plugins. One poorly conceived plugin could slow your site down during periods of heavy traffic.

Speaking of web traffic to your site, it really depends on how much web traffic you get during peak periods, and the quality of the web hosting you have.

Even if you find that your site is taking too many web hosting resources, your first consideration should be some of the great caching plugins that are available.

No limits. As long as you have enough PHP memory. Why not?

Well, I wouldn’t go that far. Minimalism pays off, in terms of Support. In other words, the fewer moving parts something has, the easier it is to diagnose when things go wrong.

In practical terms, it certainly means deactivating plugins you are not using.

yes. if speed is matter to you, reducing plugin will helps. i will go below 30, 14 is good enough.
