[Plugin: Easy CSV Importer] Ver 6.2.5 Empty Folder. Upgrade Deletes Plugin

    Tried updating the Easy CSV Importer in WP admin.

    Received message that plugin folder contained no content.

    WP deleted plugin, but could not re-install since there was no content to install.

    Subsequently went to WP Plugin Repository and downloaded version 6.2.5 of the plugin. When I unzipped it, there was a folder inside. That’s it. No files or subfolders, just a containing folder.

    I tried this twice with the same results.

    I’m wondering if it’s just something on my end or if there’s something actually wrong with the download file.

    Yes, the download is just an empty folder. There’s a note in Trac saying “Easy CSV Importer is being removed pending re-development.”

    Okay. Thanks. I had the plugin installed already and was alerted that there was an update in my site’s admin section, so I upgraded it.

    Maybe something can be done so that there are no update alerts for plugins with empty folders on WordPress.org.

    Looking forward to seeing the new version.
