how to change contributors’ capabilities?

    sorry, I couldn’t find the information, maybe someone of you know how to do this or where to look for information: I would like to reduce contributors’ capabilities. As now contributors have access to Manage Comments (also to Counterize plugin in Manage) where they can see all the IP addresses etc. The best way would be only to allow contributors to Write Posts and ban access to Manage section at all. Is it possible to do?
