I have a blog that has twelve thumbnails, in gallery style, at the top. Beneath is the blog text. When someone clicks one of the thumbs they are taken, to what I believe is called, the attachment page where they can view the full picture. THe picture is usually on the left and on the right is a big white space that looks like text can go in to explain the picture. How to I get text in that area, if I can.

    Thanks,

  • Have you a gallery plugin? If you have a look you will see an “ALT” description. Type in there.

No I am using a WooTheme but I am adding these pictures through the regular media uploader and editing and making a custom thumbnail and savingchanges, and then placing the order of the picture and then hit save gallery settings and boom…they are there. But I need to explain what people are looking at. I tried caption but it is too much text and it looks hokey. The thumbs look great with the blog underneath.

Hummmm. I hope there is a way cause if not it is such a waste of space…and the only alternative would be to put the pictures in seperately with captions…which is what I normally do but for two of my posts, thu far…just started with all this last week…I decided to use thumbs at the top.

    Thanks though…I appreciate your help.
