• Hi, everyone. I’ve been looking for quite a while now for a way to replace the text on the navigation menu buttons with images.

I have a website that I’m trying to replicate on a WordPress foundation, but I’m having trouble finding a way to be able to make new menu items if I wanted to such as Home, About, Contact, and replace them with images and have those images act as the links to go their designated pages.

I searched for plugins but haven’t found one that assist in what I’m looking for. If anyone knows of a plugin, please let me know the name of it.

Other than a plugin, how else can I replace the navigation menu with images? If I were to simply place in <img> tags, how would I get the links to automatically link to their appropriate pages, if that were plausible?

I’m really looking for help on this.

    Thanks!

I should add that the images I want to add to the navigation menu, have the words Home, About, Contact, etc. Therefore, I would somehow have to remove the automatic text links that appear when a menu item is made in the menu section, such as ‘Home’.

How would I be able to do remove the text links on the navigation menu? I’m thinking if I can at least remove the text links, I can use CSS to add the background images, and use hovering effects as well through CSS.
