• I keep getting this
    – Log folder ‘/home/bp21/public_html/wp-content/backwpup-96d31-logs/’ does not exists!
    – Log folder ‘/home/bp21/public_html/wp-content/backwpup-96d31-logs/’ is not writeable!

And my post and pages won’t show up in my wp admin panel either.

  • Use another method of backing up. See WordPress_Backups.

I can’t use a plugin to back WP up because the plugins aren’t showing up on my admin dashboard. Neither are post or pages. I think I deleted something or removed something in my FTP and I would need to put it back.

Export your database with phpMyadmin, download your entire file directories and then do a fresh install.

I don’t know how to do that. I’m sorry I’m new.

Thanks. Did that. You also said “download your entire file directories and then do a fresh install.”

How do I download my entire file directories?

Use an FTP tool such as FileZilla or your host provided file manager, please read all the links above and their associated links to learn these necessary skills and/or please consider hiring an expert.

I use FileZilla. Thanks, guess I’ll figure it out from here.

If you are using FileZila, just find the root and download everything. Once you have this and your database backup, you can safely go ahead and update. If you have any problem just post here and i’ll walk you through it.

So, exported my database with phpMyAdmin and did a fresh install of WordPress.

But when I went into the dashboard of the freshly installed wordpress.
No posts, pages, or plugins are showing up in my dashboard.

So I created a new posts real quick and published it. But it still didn’t show in my dashboard. I can give you access to my dashboard so you can see what I mean. It says the number of post above the “bulk actions” drop down menu, but they just aren’t there.

Do you have Skype? or if you are in US or Canada give me your number and I will take a look at it for you. Click on my name and use the contact page.
