• I just installed this plugin and also have the WP Family Tree installed. It looks like they would work well together since the only requirement for the WP Family Tree is the category field and the few fields for the parent/sibling/spouse for the tree display.

Is there a possibility to ADD the Category field into the page for the addition of a family member? Then I think that would allow the WP Family plugin to work in harmony with the Genealogy plugin and have the best of both worlds. This would be a great solution until such time to code a tree that is built in, or maybe this covers the need very simply. Only caviat I see is you may have 3-4 fields that map to different Db attributes and overlap.

    Any thoughts?

The only other thing I haven’t tried is to see if another person can update someone elses post of the Family member.

Is this just a permissions thing on the created custom post/page?

Is there a way to export this information? Or, would I have to make some custom form possibly with Gravity Forms to retrieve the information? If so, what are the Db fields being used by the plugin to capture this information?

Thanks for a great start on Genealogy!
