• Hi WordPress Community!

We need a website to disseminate information around the project and ultimately to publicise the project and the company.

Essentially, the website will need to display the content in various languages, what would be the best way to go about this?

I’ve read the codex, but if anyone has any “hands on” experience, so to speak, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Naergi,

I tried to have a look at that plugin through the codex but it returned this link

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/

Which has no results, so I was curious as to if this plugin is still being developed?

Edit: Had a look in Google and I guess the guys realised they could make a profit from their plugin 🙂 fair play.

Though for the price it looks rather good – however a the best free option?

    I use this plugin : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/polylang/
I have 6 languages without any problem !

I use the WPML plugin as well for my multilingual sites but it does cost. You do get what you pay for though with this type of feature in most cases.

I agree roeshead, I wouldn’t mind supporting a great plugin such as WPML. However I’m considering the logistics for a small project that doesn’t need too much support and a great deal of languages.

I’m open to suggestions, but in most cases I guess people will go with WPML.
