• I tried creating a category hierarchy using this input

    2010
    2010 -> Acura$2010-acura
    2010 -> Acura$2010-acura -> MDX$2010-acura-mdx
    2010 -> Acura$2010-acura -> RDX$2010-acura-rdx
    2009
    2009 -> Aston Martin$2009-aston-martin
    2009 -> Aston Martin$2009-aston-martin -> DB9$2009-aston-martin-db9
    2009 -> Audi$2009-audi
    2009 -> Audi$2009-audi -> A3$2009-audi-a3
    2008
    2008 -> BMW$2008-bmw
    2008 -> BMW$2008-bmw -> 128i$2008-bwm-128i
    2007
    2007 -> BWM$2007-bmw
    2007 -> BWM$2007-bmw -> 328xi$2007-bmw-328xi
    2006
    2006 -> Bentley$2006-bentley
    2006 -> Bentley$2006-bentley -> Arnage$2006-bentley-arnage

    The result was listed as this:

    Request returned with the following result:
    #0 Created: 2010
    #1 Created: Acura
    #2 Created: MDX
    #3 Created: RDX
    #4 Created: 2009
    #5 Created: Aston Martin
    #6 Created: DB9
    #7 Created: Audi
    #8 Created: A3
    #9 Created: 2008
    #10 Created: BMW
    #11 Created: 128i
    #12 Created: 2007
    #13 Created: BWM
    #14 Created: 328xi
    #15 Created: 2006
    #16 Created: Bentley
    #17 Created: Arnage

    But on the Categories page I can only see these 5 + Uncategorized

    2006
    2007
    2008
    2009
    2010

    Underneath the list it says 19 items despite only showing 6 items in total – and setting for the page is to display 20 categories per page.

    If I go to create a page then hierarchy show up nicely though.

    Back on the Categories page I then tried to delete the 5 categories that was listed.

    After deleting them, the Categories page said 14 items (as it should).

    Now I can see the remaining 13 categories I created – and they are nicely grouped with MDX having Acura as its Parent for instance.

    But now I am ofc missing the original parent categoris (the years)

    I then deleted all categories and created the entire structure to test again.

    This time I just went into Edit mode on category 2006.

    I changed nothing, but just saved it.

    And voila – the categories now show up with the proper hierarchy on the Categories page.

    I noticed this bug a while back and still haven’t had time to figure out why it would not show the hierarchy right away.
    Thank you for noticing it, I will fix it shortly 🙂
