As this is a custom theme, all I can suggest is that you start checking through your theme’s author template file.
Is there anything you’re personally aware of that could cause the author information to just magically stop retrieving information?
Not specifically, no. I’d be looking at currently installed plugins if I couldn’t locate a problem in the theme itself. also bear in mind that, if you have any secondary Loops running in the header, sidebar or even in functions.php, they can seriously mess up the Loop in a main template file such as authors.php.
I found out the problem. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I didn’t make sure the loop knew it was an author template and I had to use cur auth commands instead of what I was using.
