password recovery

    I have 3 wordpress websites. I have not worked on one of them for over a month. When I try to log into my admin panel I have the wrong password. When I try to reset it I get a message that There is no user registered with that email address.
    How can I get back into this admin panel to make changes? Thank you for your help!

    You could go to the wp-options table in the database via your phpMyadmin and make sure that the email address is correct.

    That’s the only way that I know how.

    If you use cPanel go to Php myadmin and click the wordpress database. If you have hostgator and did quickinstall then it should be something like _wdpr#.

    Then click wp_users
    Edit
    user_pass and then type a new password on value. Make sure the function is on MD5. After that click go. The new password should work. Let me know if you have any problems doing this.
