Same issue here! Pro version, blank screen with the message “Reference Error: SM is not defined”. How can I get this to work?
Add Product button does nothing!
Same exact problem. Tried to get it running on a completely fresh install with the same data (via backup buddy) and it worked one time and not the second time.
Spinning my wheels on this one. I get a weird 404 Failed error sometimes, but mostly just a blank page and “Products List is Empty”
As you mentioned, sometimes it shows 404 Failed Error, this might be due to incorrect file/folder permission & if it is like that, then it will definitely lead to empty product list.

Glad to see that you came back to this thread. Yes, as I said in shutting down my own trouble ticket, my issue was related to a permission error in the wp-content folder. If that folder is 777 instead of 755, SMP is going to choke every time and give “the white screen of death.”
I figure it’s worth getting out there, since I scoured everywhere online before posting here and chasing down other options. As with every WP issue, this may not be your particular problem, but hopefully it helps some.
same problem with lite version
This might be due to PHP version. current version of Smart Manager ie. version 2.9 doesn’t support PHP 5.4, but Smart Manager’s next version ie version 3.0 will support PHP 5.4
When you will release a new version?

I have also had this issue, which just happend this week.
we’re using version 1.1 and php version 5.2.6 with wordpress 3.5
and mysql 4.1.22.
