    Rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php. I just want to know will I need to delete the wp-config-sample.php file when I modify it?

    You don’t need to do anything with the wp-config-sample.php file. Once you copy it to the new file of wp-config.php it is pretty much useless. The reason that it’s there is that it’s used as a base for the wp-config.php file so that we know what we need to do with the settings.
