• Hi,

Would it be possible to improve/add detection of unused images? I know that plugin has option to scan for “Attachment without Post” but it doesn’t work for me. I have many authors that are contributing to my blogs many of them upload bunch of images when creating a post but end up using only 1-2 so all the other images are marked as attached to specific post or page in WordPress media-library but they are not actually used. Also WordPress creates different sizes for each image (thumbnail, medium, large…) which leads to image bloat. Would it be possible to make WP CleanFix actually scan the database to see which images has references in the code and which are not and then delete those orphan images.

    Thank you

  • I have EXACTLY the same problem.

I have thousands (no exaggeration) of unused images. And I have used different plugins to upload and manage them. What I really need is a plugin that looks at the entire sites html, database and file structure to find all of the unused images and then provides an easy way to delete them.

Hi, I’m in need of this feature too. A sweet detail would be to have a pane showing what are those orphan images detected, like in WordPress Uploaded Files Cleaner plugin.
