Multiple languages website navigation, keeping administration pages in english?

Hi, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.

I have WP MU set up to run separate language versions of the same site using sub domains en.domain.co.uk, fr,domain.co.uk and so on. The translations for the text are complete and ready to go.

The issue we have is that admin needs to see all the pages in English but the menu on the front end of the websites needs to be in the relevant language, french, german etc…

Question is how would we achieve the translation for the front end menu whilst keeping the admin panel in English, as soon as we change the page name in WP admin it changes the front end menu… in principal that works, but would confuse the administrator as to what page they are editing.

Hope that makes sense and someone has a helpful suggestion or solution?
