Upgraded to the latest 1.11.2 and got this error

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_cap() on a non-object in /home/felicity/public_html/wp-content/plugins/my-calendar/my-calendar-core.php on line 328

Whole site is not visible although have renamed plugin directory to rectify this.

    Apache version 2.2.17
    PHP version 5.2.9

    Any ideas?

That’s curious. Renaming the My Calendar directory should deactivate the plugin, which suggests something further that’s wrong.

That’s a very surprising error; that line of the code is adding a capability to the administrator role, which should certainly return an appropriate result.

I’m not sure what to suggest here – I’ll have to think about it.

Thanks for the reply. Forgot to mention it was a Mulitsite and also unzipped a download version after renaming original directory with same resulting error.

Have just tried upgrade on localhost and all went well so can only think it’s a server issue – will tweak and investigate some more.
