[Plugin: Types – Custom Fields and Custom Post Types Management] Types on Multisite

    Hi,

    I run wp Multisite.

    Can I install types and…

    (1) Create custom posts, boxes etc that apply to the whole network, not just an individual site.

    (2) Set it so that only I (the super admin) can see the plugin and make changes? The rest of the site admins can only see the result e.g. the custom post types etc.

    I tried installing types, but it doesn’t appear to work like that out of the box, but was available for use by the individual site admins. I was wondering if there was something that could be changed to make this happen?

    Sorry, we don’t have these things implemented in Types. Each site will run Types independently, without the central management that you’re looking for.

    It makes good sense to have this, but not implemented right now.

    Pity, as it’s a nice interface, and I assume ‘views’ is just as easy to work with.

    Yes. It’s a great suggestion and we’ll eventually add it, but we can’t implement everything all at once. Thanks again for bringing it up.
